Maine is known for its rocky coast, clear Atlantic waters, and the lighthouses that keep the shore safe for fisherman and sailors. Lighthouses are the beacons which stand on the edge of the dangerous rocks, sending out their safety signals during storms, fog, and in the dark of night.
