The beginning of the 17th season of this popular antiques show featuring the best in country and formal antiques, from the functional to the decorative. Catered lunch and free parking. The Rangeley snowmobile snodeo is a fun family event which includes competitions for snowmobilers, and lots of other excitement including sleigh rides an obstacle course, a chili and chowder cook-off, children's activities, an antique snowmobile display, a parade, and a fireworks display. Musher's Bowl Winter Carnival Bridgton. Jan. 26-27, 2008. The Musher's Bowl Winter Carnival will get your family out of the house and into the fresh winter air. The carnival is a weekend filled with activities including a snowmobile parade, a bonfire, sleigh rides, a craft fair, ice skating, ice fishing, a polar dunk, and of course dog sled races! For more information, call (207) 647-3472. Ice Harvest at Bartlett Pond Livermore. Jan. 26, 2008. Come and experience first-hand what life was like in the 1870s at this ice harvest event. Take a ride by horse and wagon to Bartlett Pond where the ice will be cut with old fashioned ice saws and transported back to the ice house. Location: Norlands Living History Center. Times: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost: Adults, $5; children, $3. Information: 207-897-4366. Ricky Craven's Snowmobile Ride for Charity Moosehead Lake Region. Jan. 28-29, 2008. In this ride for charity, snowmobilers from all over the area show their spirit alongside NASCAR champ Ricky Craven to raise money for children's charities. More than 400 snowmobilers participated last year with over $100,000 raised for children's charities. Come ride or just enjoy the festivities! Oxford Hills Snowfest Lake Pennesseewassee (Norway Lake ) Norway, Maine. Jan. 26-27, 2008. Always held during the last weekend in January, the Oxford Hills Snowfest is sponsored by the Norway Trackers Snowmobile Club.
