Bangor Symphony Orchestra

The Bangor Symphony Orchestra has been providing beautiful live music for the people in and around Bangor since 1896. They haven't missed a season since.

From Beethoven to Tchaikovsky, Mozart to Brahms, the Bangor Symphony has something for everyone. Mainers and visitors alike will be delighted with the classical series of music, holiday favorites and summer POPS programs. The BSO offers concerts for youth to adult, for many tastes and all ages.

Many great artists have brought their talents to Symphony performances, from Yo-Yo Ma and Isaac Stern, to the world premiere concert with the Kruger Brothers in June 2007.

Maybe you've never seen a live orchestra perform – or experienced the rush of great music all around you. Or, maybe you attend every concert, every season, and can even hum the opening bars of Ravel's Piano Concerto in G.
